5 month countdown!

Just ordered our wedding bands and crossing our fingers they are everything we wanted & more.

Update: My ring is in and I like like like like like it A LOT but I wanna check out another place. I also need to order it one size smaller. Damn my tiny ass fingers.

This is pretty close to what I want the tables to look like. Below is the far away view. I like how different vases/ jars were used for the flowers.

Minus the crazyiness on top of the cake, If i went the pine cone route I do like how it looks. 

I love the idea of having cookies or smores or hot cocoa in premade containers such as my fav- mason jars! However, it needs some polishing

This post is totally not wedding related - well I can try to make it. Last summer I made a blog of a list of things to do this summer while i'm off work. I do work summer school and I do have a grad class BUT I will have some time off - Fridays and two weeks in August!!

Today is the longest day of the year so I should get moving.

Update- I have crossed a good amount of things off my list :) 

The List

1. Go to the pool/beach at least 4 times each month A.K.A GET A TAN!  

2. Try out a new restaurant  tried a new bagel joint by my house and it was so delicious so i will count it as a restaurant 

3. Make a new meal that isn't what I normally do 

4. Go to a concert- DEATH CAB IN AUGUST

5. Meet up with at least 2 friends I haven't seen in a while - hung out with cooper

6. Start and complete a home decoration project - I need to seriously fix up paint some walls

7. Visit a city in another state and explore! - I really want to go to Philly! I also am visiting Charlottesville in July so I will be explore wedding planning stuff 

8. Get a pedicure and manicure

9. Work out at least once a week - Wii Fit counts :)  - shit I better jump on this

10. Read a novel - been reading Commencement by Courtney Sullivan. Its about four girls who went to an all girls college together and became good friends even though they are totally different. One of them is getting married so the girls come back together for her wedding. Each chapter comes from a different point of view of the four girls ... well women. Anyways I started reading it last summer but then didn't finish. I have to basically start it all over again but I really like it.

11. Have an orange crush (I'm pretty sure I won't have a hard time on this one) - perhaps make one!  -  Hello! Already had one Friday with Nicole and Angela! 

12. Have a Sunday Funday!

13. Find invitations, florist, and hair/makeup person for wedding


14. Take Rocco out to dinner (fancy dinner) for him passing his CPA


15. Try on wedding gown! (crossing my fingers it is shipped soon)


16. Get car cleaned - it's a hot mess and needs some loving


17. Go on a date with Sophia and Charlie, my niece and nephew! 


18. Visit the public library- goes with number 10


19. Put up more picture frames in the house- it is looking bare 


20. Pay off a credit card or two (then NOT use it)

Shoes

There is a serious lack of dress shoes for winter right now in the stores and since MY DRESS IS IN :) I need shoes ASAP before alterations. I ordered these Nina shoes so hopefully they rock. I love the gold inset. I ordered it in navy blue because the shoes will be my something blue. Now I need something old and borrowed. Any ideas?
