One month and a sprinkle of days married

So I abandoned you blog. I'm sorry.

I wasn't sure if I should post basically all the small details of the wedding or just move on to whats going on now. When wedding plannning I loved to see what other people did and how and how much. Right now I have two fabulous friends engaged and in the process of wedding planning. I'm SO GLAD TO BE DONE WITH IT- haha. Going to a wedding is a heck of a lot more fun than being in one. I wasn't like most brides by any means. One of my friends got married a few weeks before me and seriously before she went down the aisle she said how sad she was going to be now that it was all over and people wouldn't call her bridey. Is that how most brides should feel? I felt relief!

Since getting hitched Rocco and I went on our honeymoon, almost missed our flight OMG SCARY and have been flirting back and forth with the idea of buying a home. Let me tell you... buying a home is STRESSFUL!!!! Wedding planning was nothing. We are on the fence on whether to buy something reasonable to what we can afford or wait and save a year. Today we were supposed to sign 49 pages to make an offer and then discovered we would have to buy the house AS IS and red flags went up. Ahh!!! Growing up sucks that's my conclusion.

PS: Being a newlywed is fun! Gives you an excuse to hang out in your pajamas all weekend and snuggle. :)

We didn't get too much done tonight but at least we put up our tree and decorated for Christmas.

Guestbook

Rocco and I need something on our walls so why not use a guestbook as a print for our home?

At first I wasn't a huge fan of this one BUT then I realized it looked SO similar to One Republic's Dreaming Out Loud album. Since the wedding date is 4 years to the date we saw them in concert. :)

Lots of little things to do !!! ahhh

Last night it finally hit that there is a zillion things left to do. I told Rocco I was starting to feel nervous and worried about getting everything done. I now know why brides basically make wedding planning a job because there is so much to do and if you don't know you would forget. (See my to do list- ahh!)

Basically I'm trying to get whatever I can get done now so that next month I'm not pulling my hair out. I'm on a hunt for my jacket, bridesmaid gifts, and my earrings. Rocco and I have been working on the music for the reception and hopefully sometime in the next two weeks we check out his clothing options for the big day.

Wedding Invitations- halfway there OHHHHHhhh livin...

Halfway through addressing the invitations.

My future mother in law has been my calligrapher (yay!). It definitively takes a while to complete.
 There are also TONS of etiquette rules. Martha knows the rules. I followed some of them like having addresses handwritten but I'm a rule breaker and I don't have an inner envelope and an outer envelope.
