Potential Engagement Outfit

Picked up 2 adorable cardigans from Banana Republic Outlet today. One in spring yellow and the other in gray.  I definitely like the idea of my boyfriend jeans from the Gap with some sort of wedges. I also think Rocco should wear jeans and black sneakers? The shoot is next month and more than likely in DC, cherry blossom time.

Super cute shoot in DC! I wish Rocco and I could steal a bulldog.

I've taken a break from wedding planning because school has taken over my life. Grad school and work school. February and March is such a tough time of year for teachers with the push and stress of state testing. I hate it. This month I had 3 big things due for grad school. Thankfully I am finished with 2 and just need to put together a very important presentation for the end of the month.

Looking forward to doing something else other than work, work, work. Perhaps wedding planning? Kinda sad that I would rather do that right now.

Next month Rocco and I are going to finalize the venue and take engagement photos. I learned that you should definitely make the future groom feel like he is part of the planning process and decision making. I think he has gone from hating the idea of engagement photos to "ok" about it. We will be doing our shoot in our nations capital, Washington DC! It is where we met after all.


Next month is also dress shopping time. Not sure how I am going to pay for a dress but... I need to start somewhere by looking. I miss trying on dresses and seeing whats out there. I loved going prom and homecoming dress shopping. I also used to go dress shopping when I was feeling low in college. Except this is THE ULTIMATE DRESS SHOPPING experience. More details on that later!

Update- Tax man was nice this year with my refund! I have enough money to pay Rocco back (which I owe him a lot), some of my credit card OR... deposit for dress and pay off graduate class.
